ABOUT

A small child with brown hair, wearing a striped shirt, is reaching for a container of Yoplait yogurt on a table. There is a woven basket nearby, and the child appears to be in a kitchen or dining area.

MY STORY

Bryan Yasuhara exists at the intersection of East and West, drawing influence from both American and Japanese tattoo traditions while remaining grounded in craft, history, and longevity.

Tattooing since 2020, Bryan specializes in American Traditional, Neo-Traditional, Japanese, and Black & Grey tattooing. The work emphasizes strong design, readability, and respect for the traditions these styles come from — not as trends, but as living lineages.

Equal reverence is given to flash and custom work. Flash is treated as time-honored design language; custom pieces as collaborative problem-solving between artist and client. Both are approached with the same level of care, intention, and technical discipline.

Client service is central to the process. Clear communication, thoughtful pacing, and long-term results matter as much as the final image.

Yasuhara tattoos out of Atomic Tattoo on Hollywood Boulevard — a legacy shop celebrating 30 years on Hollywood Blvd, rooted in the history of Los Angeles tattooing.
