FAQS

  • How do I book an appointment?

Fill out the booking form with clear details, size, placement, references, and any ideas you have. Vague requests like “something cool” will be interpreted… loosely.

    Do you take walk-ins?

I work by appointment only. Occasionally I’ll post last-minute openings on Instagram, first come, first served.

The shop takes walk-ins for flash and small designs. It’s first come, first served, and certain days see high traffic. It’s best to reach out ahead of time.

How far out are you booked?

Typically a few weeks to a couple months. Good work takes time. So does getting on the schedule.

  • Do I need a consultation?

Most tattoos can be handled online. Larger, custom, or cover-up work may require a consultation to make sure we get it right.

FaceTime and Zoom are always options.

    Are consultations free?

Yes. They’re also intentional, please show up prepared and on time.

Will I see the design beforehand?

Designs are created close to your appointment. This keeps the work fresh and tailored. We’ll go over everything together before we start and make any necessary refinements.

Please make sure you are thorough and comprehensive in describing what you want.

  • Do you require a deposit?

Yes. Deposits secure your appointment, allow me to design with purpose, and ensure everyone is serious.

    How much is the deposit?

Usually $100–$300 depending on the project.

    Is it refundable?

No. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred with proper notice.

    Can I reschedule?

Yes, with at least 48 hours notice. Life happens. Just communicate. Even if it’s “I’m hungover because I spent my tattoo money getting hammered last night.”

What if I no-show or cancel last minute?

Your deposit is forfeited. No exceptions. Respect goes both ways.

  • How much does a tattoo cost?

Every piece is different. Pricing depends on size, placement, detail, and time. You’ll receive an estimate after submitting your request.

Do you charge hourly or per piece?

Both. Smaller work is usually priced by piece. Larger projects are done hourly or at a day rate.

    Do you offer day rates?

Yes, ideal for sleeves, larger concepts, or clients who want to commit to a full session.

    Day rates vary by season.

Why isn’t there a flat price list?

Because this isn’t fucking Chipotle. It’s custom artwork.

  • How should I prepare?

    • Sleep well

    • Eat beforehand

    • Hydrate

    • Skip alcohol/drugs for 24 hours

Showing up shaky, hungover, or underprepared is a great way to have a bad time.

    What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed. Function over fashion, for once.

    Can I bring someone?

Space is limited. If you need moral support, ask ahead, but most sessions run best one-on-one.

    What if I’m late?

Time is booked intentionally. Being late may cut into your session or require rescheduling.

  • How do I take care of my tattoo?

You’ll get detailed instructions, but the basics:

    • Keep it clean

    • Lightly moisturized

    • No soaking

    • Don’t pick it

Yes, even if it’s “just a little.”

    How long does healing take?

About 2–3 weeks on the surface. Fully settled in 4–6 weeks.

    Do you offer touch-ups?

If needed, we’ll discuss it after healing. Most issues come down to aftercare, so do your part.

  • What won’t you tattoo?

If it doesn’t align with my style, values, standards, or skill set, I’ll pass. There are plenty of artists out there—find the right fit.

    Do you do cover-ups?

Yes, depending on the piece. Send clear photos and realistic expectations.

  • Respect the Process

Good tattoos aren’t rushed, negotiated into the ground, or micromanaged to death.

Bring a solid idea, trust the artist, and show up ready.

That’s how you get something worth wearing forever.

    Hope to see you soon!
